Meet up on Saturday, October 6 for this Rally and March to protest the U.S military aggression and celebrate the anniversary of the Occupy movement. Add your voice to the demands:

  • Money for Jobs, Education, Health Care, Housing, and the Environment - Not War
  • End the Wars and Occupations - No Nukes, No Drones
  • Main Street, Not Wall Street - Power to the People
  • Restore Constitutional Rights

Jordana Sardo, local coordinator for the Durham/Lopez campaign is co-leading a workshop “Alternatives to Capitalism and War” with the Michael Meo of the Pacific Green Party at 1:30pm in Terrill Hall.     Campaign with Stephen Durham at the Northwest Oregon Labor Council's Annual Labor Day Picnic

    Meet up with energetic campaigners and Freedom Socialist Party presidential candidate Stephen Durham at the largest Labor Day picnic in Oregon. Help bring the unabashed unmillionaire campaign to union members and their families. Durham has ideas on how to achieve full employment, universal healthcare, and strengthen the right to organize, and wants to hear your opinions. A seasoned union activist, multilingual community organizer, and gay rights pioneer, Durham is in Portland as part of a west coast tour.

    The Labor Day Picnic is free and open to the public. There will be music, food, bingo, and informational booths.

    This event takes place at Oaks Amusement Park, 7805 SE Oaks Park Way, Portland on TriMet bus lines #70 and #15.
