Ray Jackson (27 March 1941-23 April 2015) was a proud Wiradjuri warrior, socialist, unionist, wharfie, feminist, LGBTIQ liberationist, internationalist, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and tireless fighter for Koori justice (fkj). His life and legacy inspire those who carry on these struggles. Remembered as a visionary, he was awarded the French Human Rights Award in 2013 for his Black deaths in custody work with the Indigenous Social Justice Association (ISJA).
