Rojava: The Kurd’s brave experiment in self-rule during the Syrian civil war

December 16 @ 12:30 pm

Forty million Kurds in the Middle East are the largest ethnic group in the world
without a country of their own. Rojava, an autonomous Kurdish region established
in northern Syria during the seven-year civil war, will be discussed by FSP’s study
group. The Kurds’ centuries-old fight to overcome discrimination and the heroic
role played by women’s militias in Rojava will also be examined.

Free. Lunch served at 11:30am for a $7.00 donation

Everyone welcome.
