Six-week study groups: Is there a U.S. Labor Party in our future?

March 5 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Monday, repeating until April 9, 2018

Frustrated waiting for the Democrats or Republicans to do something about sky-high rents, gentrification, home foreclosure, healthcare, police brutality, regressive taxes and union-busting? Could a labor party be the solution? While long-standing labor parties exist in Canada, Europe and Australia, why hasn’t one ever taken hold in the U.S.? Is now the time?

Six-week study groups to analyze this history will meet Monday nights, March 5 through April 9, at two Seattle locations:

Rainier Valley: 6:00pm-8:00pm at New Freeway Hall, 5018 Rainier Ave. S.

University District: 6:30pm-8:30pm at 4710 University Way NE, Suite 100 (If the front door is locked, please call 206-713-8056 to let in.)

Reading materials are available by email or hard copies on site for a $7.00 donation.

Sponsored by the Freedom Socialist Party.

Please call 206-722-2453 or email for more information or to participate in a group.
