Right now, the cops are responsible for policing themselves, with terrible consequences for the general public. The Campaign for an Elected Civilian Review Board in New York City seeks to change all that.

The campaign is fighting to pass a historic piece of legislation that will create a community-elected board with power to tackle police corruption, violence, and abuse. It would also establish an elected special prosecutor to take on criminal cops.

Regardless of where you live, this effort to win real police accountability needs your support. To endorse, volunteer or donate, go to StopPoliceViolenceNYC.org.
