THE PIVOTAL ROLE OF BLACK LABOR IN THE U.S.
This documentary spotlights the League of Revolutionary Black Workers, which in the late 1960’s shook up the Detroit auto industry and labor bureaucracy, and bridged the Civil Rights and labor movements.
Join in a discussion of how workers of color and white workers can fight together for the needs of the most exploited workers and lift conditions for everyone.
Featuring Commentary By:
JAMES WRIGHT, Civil Rights historian, former Southern Christian Leadership Conference member, and D.C. 37 union activist
ELIAS HOLTZ, Freedom Socialist Party, campaigner for police accountability, and labor activist
