Black History Month Film Showing and Discussion of “I Am Not Your Negro”

This acclaimed movie powerfully represents Black activist and writer James Baldwin’s reflections on the boundaries of race and the necessity for multi-issue coalition-building in the civil rights movement. The film’s rich historical footage connects the ongoing struggle for Black freedom and equality to today’s movements. After the movie, join in the discussion on how people of all colors can organize together and the essential role of radical African American leadership. 2016, 93 minutes.
