The passionate crusading of Trinidad-born Claudia Jones led to her arrest for “un-American activities,” imprisonment and deportation. She was a pioneer in identifying the essential leadership role of Black women workers and in linking race, gender and class in the struggle for freedom. Join in the discussion on how Jones’ ideas can help guide today’s activists.
