Freedom Socialist Party Branch Meeting
The Story of Seattle’s United Front Against Fascism:
A vital guide for present day tasks
Saturday, 7 November, 3:00 pm Australian Eastern Summer Time
Join us to celebrate the publication of an anti-fascist booklet rich with lessons for today. Authored by two veteran organisers against the far right, Guerry Hoddersen and Luma Nichol, this exciting new title from Red Letter Press is fittingly subtitled a handbook for activists. The meeting will feature an educational presentation reviewing the booklet. It will draw on the theory and practice which consolidated a radical, working-class movement against racist skinheads, white supremacists and outright Nazis in the Pacific Northwest. Join in the discussion and apply the winning ideas to what’s needed to defeat the contemporary far-right threat. The meeting will also hear a report on defending revolutionary feminism, women’s autonomous organising and standing up for transgender rights.
Participate in person or take part via Zoom.
Afternoon tea will be served at 2:30 pm for a $10 donation.
