Freedom Socialist Party study circle: What history tells us about the revolutionary potential of Marxism versus Anarchism
November 17 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm AEDT
An event every 2 weeks that begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 1, 2021
Anarchists and Marxists both want to send the capitalist system to the grave. Both want a stateless and classless society. But Marxists and anarchists have very different views about how to get there. There’s vast difference on questions of leadership, methods of organising and tactics to use to achieve these goals. This seven-session study circle will examine Marxism and anarchism in theory and practice from the 19th century to today.
Starts 7 pm, Wednesday, 8 September and then every second Wednesday until 1 December.
