Protest Land Forces 2026: Money for people and the planet — not weapons and war! No warmongers in Boorloo!

Protest Land Forces 2026
Money for people and the planet — not weapons and war!
No warmongers in Boorloo!
Tuesday 6 October, 5:00 PM
Yagan Square

Spruiked as “the region’s premier national and regional security event for the land defence sector” Land Forces 2026 will ‘invade’ Boorloo (Perth) at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 6 to 8 October. The Military Industrial Complex – joined at the hip with government – will be on full display. The cost to the taxpayer for security alone at Land Forces is $10+ million.

Join us to protest:

weapons and war’s mass destruction of the planet and humanity;
defence expenditure at the expense of mitigating climate change and properly funding housing, health and education;
the State Government’s aim to make defence the 2nd largest industry in WA, including a proposed ‘missile manufacturing hub’ (possibly in Collie), without consulting the community;
AUKUS and the U.S. Alliance; and
Land Forces exhibitors aiding and abetting the genocide in Gaza.
The protest will also debunk the myths that preparing for war brings peace and nuclear weapons are needed for deterrence.
Co-hosted by Right 2 Protest – WA and Stop AUKUS – WA
