TERFS, Nazis and the fight for trans liberation

Join the Freedom Socialist Party and Radical Women for an online event in honour of Stonewall.
Debbie Brennan, veteran anti-fascist organiser and Melbourne Radical Women organiser, will explore how the far right is using transphobia to build its movement. She’ll examine how the flawed and blinkered ideology of trans-exclusionary radical feminism leaves its adherents open to being manipulated by these sinister types. Plus she’ll also explain what fascism is and how we can stop it in its tracks.
The meeting will also feature a special tribute to Stonewall and the trans women of colour, butch dykes and other working class queers who rebelled against police harassment. This sparked the global wave of queer liberation, which declared out of the closets and into the streets — the foundation of Pride which underpins the contemporary movement.
