Having spent the past 42 years in prison for a murder he did not commit, political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal was denied a new trial on Oct. 26, 2022.
It is not despite, but because of clear evidence of his innocence, that a Philadelphia judge made this ruling. For Pennsylvania’s racist “justice” system, Mumia is enemy number one. As an investigative journalist, his reporting was in part responsible for exposing and sending criminal cops to jail.
International anti-death penalty solidarity won Mumia his life. We must continue to demand: Free Mumia now! Free all political prisoners!
