Have no illusions. The goal of Netanyahu and his über-right, religious Zionist co-conspirators is the complete obliteration of Palestine. The president of Israel called it “total victory” over Hamas, like smashing a glass to smithereens and then continuing to smash the shards, he explained.

We will turn Gaza into a deserted island,” he promised. The Oct. 7 Hamas action provided the pretext. He is also working on emptying the West Bank of Palestinians by approving housing developments for murderously racist settlers.

While the world erupts in protest and rightfully shouts “genocide,” the pundits speculate: Will there be a temporary truce for Ramadan? Will Hamas “play ball” and release more hostages? When will the two sides sit down to talk? Is a two-state solution the answer?

But Netanyahu rejects any Palestinian state. His only solution is Israel’s ownership of all territories, devoid of Palestinians. And he needs U.S. backing to make this happen.

Since October, his regime has killed over 30,000 Gazans, maimed tens of thousands more, displaced entire cities, sabotaged humanitarian aid, destroyed hospitals and demanded one million people leave their homeland.

For the Palestinian cause and for freedom-loving people everywhere, the plans of these right-wing Zionists must be stopped. End U.S. funding of Israel! End the occupation of Palestine!
