Odeh, a Palestinian and community organizer, won a partial victory against the U.S. government’s attempt to deport her. In late February, the Sixth Court of Appeals ruled that testimony from an expert witness on the torture Odeh endured in Israeli prisons should have been admitted at trial. Supporters are hopeful that this ruling will lead to Odeh finally being exonerated of all charges.
