Is there no limit to the cruelty inflicted on desperate refugees?

Saudi Arabian border guards are greeting African refugees with bullets, explosive projectiles, and rape. Many Ethiopians are so desperate to flee the poverty and destruction of their homeland that they cross war-torn Yemen to reach safety and work.

Hundreds, possibly thousands, were killed in the 15 months ending in June 2023 according to a recent Human Rights Watch exposé. Many were women and children.

It’s no surprise that the White House kept silent when they learned of these murders a year ago. After all, Saudi Arabia is a key ally in the Middle East. And Uncle Sam has its own history of abuse against those crossing its border, especially Black Haitians.

Meanwhile, the U.N.’s tepid response to this crisis was to discreetly urge the Saudi regime to curb its inhumanity. It’s a travesty.

This madness has got to end. One short global socialist feminist revolution is what’s needed to cure the ills of this world. The time is now!
