Currently, 1,500 Palestinians are facing eviction to provide territory for Israeli Zionist expansion in the neighborhoods surrounding Jerusalem.

Most recently, the District Court in Israel has given 21 families in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood until early May 11 to make way for a Bible-inspired theme park.

Ethnic cleansing has been occurring in East Jerusalem for decades. In 1956, Jordan struck an agreement with Israel to end the United Nations refugee status of 21 families in Sheikh Jarrah in exchange for a promise by Israel to issue land titles to these families. This never occurred. Today, Israel is using the lack of land titles to evict these Palestinian from the land they have lived on for decades.

The Freedom Socialist Party urges supporters of Palestinian rights to sign this petition calling on the U.S. government to demand an end to the illegal evictions by the Zionist state of Israel.
