The largest US health care strike in history is slated to start at 6:00am tomorrow by a coalition SEIU-United Healthcare Workers West and seven other unions representing about 40% of Kaiser Permanente’s national workforce, including nursing staff, EMTs, respiratory care practitioners, and many others who help support hospital operations.

Like other strikers this season, healthcare workers are demanding wages that will enable them to live near where they work. They also want an end to Kaiser’s colossal understaffing crisis which threatens worker and patient safety and causes long appointment wait times and deterioration in the quality of care for patients.

This will be a three day strike, Oct. 4-6, with picketing from 6:00am to 5:00pm. Locations are listed here: go.seiu-uhw.org/KaiserStrikeLocations. Join one near you, or meet up with FSP picketers at the West Los Angeles campus, 6041 Cadillac Ave. in L,.A., or at Kaiser-Antelope Valley, 43112 N. 15th St., West Lancaster.

Add your name to the growing list of Californians standing with frontline healthcare workers at Kaiser Permanente: go.seiu-uhw.org/KPsupport.
