What’s up in the fight for reproductive justice?
Come learn about Stand With Abortion Now (SWAN), an organization of gutsy clinic defenders and reproductive health educators in Orlando, Florida. The Sunshine State — where abortion is banned after six weeks and clinic harassers are nasty, misogynistic, and sometimes violent. SWAN believes in protecting abortion rights by all means necessary, and often uses humor and engagement to protect their clinic and their community. Hear about their audacious and effective tactics and how we can help.
With election day fast approaching, we’ll take a look at some important reproductive justice ballot measures across the country.
And participants will sample the second podcast in the Repro Justice Now series created by members of the NY Mobilization for Reproductive Justice: “STOP Reproductive InjustICE: An Immigrant Struggle.”
