March with FSP at the Queer Liberation March!

June 28 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm UTC+0

Join the Freedom Socialist Party as we march in the 2020 Queer Liberation March for Black Lives and Against Police Brutality.

Our contingent is calling to:
Defund, Demilitarize and Disarm the NYPD!
Fight Back with an ECRB! (Elected Civilian Review Board)

Last year, activists in the Reclaim Pride Coalition had a hugely successful split from the corporate-riddled Heritage of Pride parade to reclaim the militant spirit of queer liberation. This year, the coalition is back in the streets in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter uprising, drawing the connection between the systemic racism, homophobia and transphobia that are endemic to capitalism and its police forces.

On the 50th Anniversary of the first Gay Liberation March – it’s time to rekindle the militancy of the Stonewall Rebellion, and build a multi-racial socialist feminist movement to fight police violence and for total liberation from capitalist oppression.

*Meet up with FSP at 12:00pm on Sunday, June 28th, at 111 Worth Street (in front of the Starbucks). Email nycfsp@gmail.com or text 347-561-0699 to RSVP.*

The Queer Liberation March kicks off at 1:00pm on June 28th from Foley Square.

The March is organized by the Reclaim Pride Coalition, “a growing global coalition of over 100 organizations and thousands of individuals who are reclaiming the NYC Pride March so it better represents the TBLGQIATSNBGNC community + allies.”
