Ann Telnaes, Pulitzer-winning cartoonist for the Washington Post, submitted this rough image showing a few tech/media giants paying homage to Donald Trump. Included: Mark Zuckerberg (Meta CEO), Sam Altman (OpenAI CEO), LA Times publisher Patrick Soon-Shiong, Mickey Mouse (standing in for Disney and ABC News) and, bringing up the rear … Telnaes’ boss, Post owner Jeff Bezos. It was, according to Telnaes, the first cartoon of hers to be killed strictly due to subject matter.
She resigned in protest. Show support for her ongoing work by visiting her Substack publication Open Windows – Ann Telnaes.
